Our hives on the island are maintained with the local care and expertise of a whānau run business, with a focus on sustainability and guardianship. Our family have been kaitiaki or guardians of this national treasure since the 1800s. The pristine slice of New Zealand flora and fauna is around 5 kilometers off Paraparaumu, around an hour north of Wellington, and is an internationally recognised nature reserve, home to a wonderful array of endangered birds and wildlife.

Two things you should know; firstly, we'll ship for free on all orders over $35.
Secondly, it's a bit of a swim from Kapiti Island to the Post Office, so we only make it there once every few days. We'll get your order to you as quick as we can - and we'll take the time to make it look good too.
